James Corden May Take Over the ‘Late Late Show’… Who Is He?
In the latest round of late-night talk show shakeups, CBS is eying British actor James Corden to replace Craig Ferguson on the “Late Late Show,” according to multiple reports.
Here are four tidbits about Corden:
-- The funnyman co-created and starred in the British comedy series "Gavin & Stacy," for which he won a BAFTA Award in 2008.
-- Corden also earned a Tony Award in 2012 for his performance in the play "One Man, Two Guvnors."
-- The actor has also had supporting roles in "Begin Again," "One Chance" "Gulliver's Travels" and a guest-star spot on TV's "Doctor Who."
-- He's playing The Baker in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of "Into the Woods,” starring Meryl Streep.

Ferguson announced his exit from the "Late Late Show" in April, after David Letterman revealed he would be retiring from the "Late Show" next year.
