Benjamin Keough’s Autopsy Findings Released
Months after he died of a self-inflicted intraoral gunshot wound at age 27, new details have been released about Lisa Presley's son Benjamin Keough.
In the newly released autopsy report obtained by "Extra," it has been revealed that cocaine and alcohol were found in Keough's system at the time of his death.
According to the documents, Keough was found unresponsive by his girlfriend Diana Pinto in an upstairs bathroom during her birthday party at his family's home in Calabasas, California.
Emergency personnel arrived, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
When detectives arrived, video surveillance with audio was found showing “a possible verbal argument” between Keough and Pinto that took place just before he took his own life.
The report noted Keough's history of depression and his abuse of alcohol and drugs. He had attempted suicide six months earlier by “overdosing on alcohol and cocaine.”
Four months before taking his life, Keough spent three weeks in rehab. He also checked into rehab three other times, but never completed any of the programs.
After news broke of his death in July, his mother Lisa Marie Presley's manager, Roger Widynowski, told "Extra" his client was "entirely heartbroken, inconsolable, and beyond devastated, but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter, Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life."
