Paris Jackson Wants to ‘Vomit’ Over Joseph Fiennes’ Portrayal of Dad Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris does not approve of Joseph Fiennes' depiction of her legendary father.

A first look at Fiennes channeling Jackson can be seen in the recently released trailer for “Urban Myths,” which features shorts about Hollywood's best-known urban legends. One segment recreates the mythical car trip out of NYC made by Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando and Michael Jackson following the 9/11 attacks.

After seeing the trailer, Paris wrote on Twitter, “I'm so incredibly offended by it, as i'm sure plenty of people are as well, and it honestly makes me want to vomit."

"It angers me to see how obviously intentional it was for them to be this insulting, not just towards my father, but my godmother liz as well,” Paris said.

The project drew some criticism for its decision to cast a white man in the role of the King of Pop. Paris reiterated, "Where is the respect? They worked through blood sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies… Shameful portrayal. … He made a point of it plenty of times to express his pride in his roots. He would never have wanted this.”

Paris' cousin Taj “TJ” Jackson tweeted, "Unfortunately this is what my family has to deal with. No words could express the blatant disrespect.”

Last year, Joseph weighed in on his casting in the film, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "The decision with the casting and the producers — I wrangled with it, I was confused and shocked at what might come my way and I knew the sensitivity, especially to Michael's fans and to Michael's family. It doesn't negate who he was.”
