Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
“Extra's” Tanika Ray spoke with Bublé about his new album “Love” and his son Noah's cancer battle.
His son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in late 2016 when he was just 3 years old. He commented, “I'm not belittling what we've gone through, the fact is it's too painful to really talk about and so for me it's fine to acknowledge it, but it at the same time I think I'm able to sort of, I hope that I can bring hope to other families who are going through hard things.”
Michael and his wife and actress Luisana Lopilato put their careers on hold while Noah fought for his life. He revealed, “It's obviously a difficult situation… it's not my story to tell, it's my boy's story and one day when he's ready he'll tell it.”
Noah is doing better now, and Michael is shutting down retirement rumors, saying, “Of course it's not true.”
Proving the reports wrong, Bublé is releasing a new album, “Love,” out on November 16. He shared, “Listen what we went through they were only the basics what people find out at the end of their life in that hospital bed when those buttons are beeping… It becomes very clear to them and I think those things became very clear to us.”
While his new music reflects the title, Michael had a special message for all of his fans, saying, “Your love your compassion, your prayers, you got me through you got my family through and so everything I do now is basically me saying thank you… And I just want to have fun, I don't want to care about anything else, I just want to enjoy the beautiful things, my kids are good everybody's healthy, ya know, I just want to have fun now.”
Bublé is set to hit the road for his 27-city U.S. Tour, which kicks off February 13 in Tampa, Florida. The two-month tour, which includes stops in NYC and L.A., will wrap April 6 in Tacoma, Washington.
