Jennifer Lopez on Saving Adele from Grammys Crasher
Sometimes it's nice to have friends in high places. When Ukrainian TV journalist Vitalii Sediuk managed to infiltrate the Staples Center on Sunday night and nearly accept an award on Adele's behalf, presenter Jennifer Lopez stopped him in his tracks.
Just as he reached the stage, Lopez, who was presenting Adele with the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Set Fire to the Rain (Live),” pulled Sediuk away from the microphone and gestured him offstage with a thumb. Watch!
Lopez's rep told “Extra” on Tuesday about the incident, "Like Adele said, she's her 'good luck charm.'"
Adele said in her speech that J.Lo was her “good luck charm” because the “On the Floor” singer seems to always present Adele with her awards.
Meanwhile, Sediuk ended up spending a night in jail for his stunt, and explained to the Hollywood Reporter, "I'm not a crazy guy. I just think differently." Here's his account:
