Amanda Bynes Says She Was ‘Obviously Joking’ About Killing Her Parents
Troubled actress Amanda Bynes wants to make it clear she has no intention of murdering her parents.
Bynes took to Twitter on Saturday to explain an audiotape that surfaced on TMZ in which she discussed dreams of murdering her dad, slitting her mother's wrist and burning down their house.
She tweeted, “By the way - I was obviously joking about hurting my family - I straight up don't believe in harming a soul.”

Amanda added, “I said what I said in jest & if you don't understand that then know I'm in therapy to talk about my dad issues and that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life.”
The tape was recorded by one of her roommates, says TMZ, and some of Bynes' family told the site they wanted to tape to be released in an effort to get medical professionals involved, so the “Easy A” actress could receive help.
