Former ‘Bachelorette’ Stars Weigh In on Nick Viall’s Final Choice
Former “The Bachelorette” stars Josh Murray, Chris Soules and Robby Hayes got to hand out their own roses last night at a viewing party for the season finale of “The Bachelor” at the Hollywood Park Casino. “Extra” hung out with the guys and got their take on Nick Viall after he proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi.
Iowa farmer Chris Soules, who came in third on Andi Dorfman's season of “The Bachelorette” before becoming “The Bachelor” himself, sai, “I'm happy for him, really, genuinely happy for him — he's a friend.” He went on to say, “He had a lot of nice options and she seems like a good one.”
Soules also chimed in on Nick's emotions since he was not shy about crying on camera a lot, “It's Nick, he's emotional in general… everybody's emotional. They should be. If you're not, you're not taking it seriously. This is an emotional experience.”
Robby Hayes, who was a finalist on JoJo Fletcher's season of “The Bachelorette,” was also happy, but said he would have gone with a different choice. “I would have gone with a different decision because I have a different type then Nick. I grew up on a farm in Georgia for nine years, Raven's accent gets me, her mannerisms, the way she acts, get me. Vanessa's great too, don't get me wrong, I hope she is the girl for Nick.”
Robby also noticed Nick's tears, saying, “He cried a lot, and there's nothing against that.”
Josh Murray, who became engaged to Amanda Stanton after “Bachelor in Paradise,” said he felt that Nick made the right move, noting, “Vanessa seems like an amazing woman.”
