Joe & Teresa Giudice Finalize Divorce
Nearly a year after their separation, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa and Joe Giudice are legally single.
People magazine reports their divorce has been finalized. A source told the outlet, “Joe and Teresa are in an amazing place and are very supportive of one another. They still have love for each other, they just aren't in love with each other.”
Bravo personality Vikki Ziegler helped Teresa and Joe during mediation. In a statement, she said, “I am so proud of Joe and Teresa for working together and resolving all of their matrimonial issues through the mediation process. Despite the pandemic and difficulty of Joe residing in Italy full time, with the use of technology, the couple was able to work together for the best interests of their children to come to terms on all open topics relative to their marriage. Mediation saved them time and additional money fighting a battle in Court that could have taken years to resolve.”
On the same day their divorce news broke, Teresa put their New Jersey mansion on the market for $2.5 million.
The 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom Towaco property is where they raised their daughters Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10.
Last year, she expressed her desire to keep the home after calling it quits with Joe. She shared on a “RHONJ” episode, “I wanted to keep the girls there, 'cause I didn't want them to go through another change. And I am glad I was able to. But it is a lot to upkeep.”
The home recently underwent renovations, including a new pool.
Before they announced the separation after 20 years of marriage, the couple had been living apart for four years. Joe served a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud, while Teresa served a little over 11 months for the same crimes.
Joe is now living in Italy after being deported following his release from ICE custody last year.
