Donald Trump Speaks Out About Reported War Between Wife Melania and Ex Ivana
"Extra" caught up with Donald Trump while he was promoting his new book “Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again," and asked about the reported war between his wife Melania and ex Ivana.
Ivana is rumored to have bashed the current Mrs. Trump at a party, saying, "She can't talk, she can't give a speech, she doesn't go to events, she doesn't (seem to) want to be involved.”
Donald defended Melania, who was there to support him at last week's debate, when “Extra" asked about the comments. He said, "I don't know what comments, because Ivana… I've always known her to speak very highly of Melania… but Melania would be an amazing first lady — she's very smart, very, very sharp, loves people, really wants to help people… she will be an amazing first lady."
Trump also gave us a sneak peak into his preparation to host this weekend's "Saturday Night Live.” "Well, I'm meeting with Lorne Michaels today, and we're going to start discussing, and the process begins — it's a little bit of a process — the process is going to begin. We're going to have a good time, and it's going to be a great evening. It's going to be one of the highest-rated 'SNLs' ever, so, we're going to give 'em a good time."
Meanwhile he's taking on the Obama Administration in his new book. "The book is a tough book… Nothing good is happening… I'm going to turn it around… I'm going to make it great." Referencing his less than happy picture on the cover, he added, "Right now, I can't put a smiley face on the book because there's too many bad things happening."
