Broadway Bound: Rumer Willis Lands Role as Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago'
"Dancing with the Stars" winner Rumer Willis is taking her fancy footwork to the footlights of Broadway!
Rumer has signed to play Roxie Hart in "Chicago" at New York City's Ambassador Theatre for eight weeks beginning August 18.
She will perform her last show on October 11 and will be replaced by Brandy Norwood, who played the role earlier this year.
Renee Zellweger played Roxie in the 2002 movie adaptation of the show, which also starred Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Queen Latifah.
