Ouch! What Happened to Johnny Depp’s Hand?
Arrrgghh! Johnny Depp is going to have to take a little break from playing Captain Jack Sparrow.
TheWrap.com reports the actor injured his hand this weekend while on location in Australia filming “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” He was reportedly not on the set when the injury occurred.
Depp has to return to the US for surgery, a source told TheWrap, but the production is expected to be “minimally impacted.”
Johnny was spotted jumping on a plane with his hand wrapped in a bandage and sling. No word yet on how he injured it.

The fifth “Pirates of the Caribbean” installment began shooting last month. It also stars Geoffrey Rush, Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites.
The plot follows Capt. Jack, who finds himself on the run from a bloodthirsty ghost pirate (Bardem), who is hell bent on killing all the pirates at sea after escaping the Devil's Triangle. In order to survive, Sparrow has to find Poseidon's legendary Trident so he can control the seas.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” sets sail in theaters July 2017.
