Michelle Obama's Touching Throwback Photo After President Obama’s Farewell Speech
The Obamas are getting ready to leave the White House, but after eight years in Washington, Michelle Obama paid a touching tribute to her family after President Obama's final farewell speech last night.
Following the speech in Chicago, the First Lady shared her love, pride and support for her husband, writing on the Instagram photo, "So proud of POTUS and all that we've accomplished together. What an incredible journey filled with remarkable people. I love you Barack. -mo”.

The throwback photo, which included their two daughters Sasha and Malia, was signed with Michelle's initials, -mo, which signifies that she posted it herself.
President Obama dedicated part of his speech to his wife and two daughters, saying, "Michelle LaVaughn Robinson, girl of the South Side, for the past 25 years you have not only been my wife and mother of my children, you have been my best friend."
Holding back his tears, he continued, "You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody. And a new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model.”
