Nick Jonas Talks Quarantine Life with Priyanka Chopra, Plus: His Producing Project Dash & Lily

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are one of Hollywood's busiest power couples, but they have found a silver lining in the lockdown.

“Extra's” Terri Seymour spoke with Nick about his new Netflix series “Dash & Lily,” and his time in quarantine with Priyanka.

He shared, “Being able to have this time together, which we wouldn't have had any other year, it has been really nice.”

Priyanka is now back to work on “The Matrix 4.” He revealed, “Pri is back to work shooting in Germany at the moment… And we're just staying as busy as possible and we've sort of turned our focus to our production companies and the development work that we've been doing.”

When asked what they would do when the world reopens again, Nick answered, “I think just spending time with family. One of our last trips before lockdown started was to India, and I'm grateful we had the chance to see her friends and family there… Being with the ones we love in parts of the world we can't get to is probably the biggest thing.”

Nicki is busy with his first-ever producing project, “Dash & Lily.” The eight-episode series centers on “a whirlwind holiday romance that develops as a young couple trade dares, dreams, and desires in a notebook they pass back and forth throughout New York City.”

He pointed out, “This idea that you're kind of one dare, one risk, away from something beautiful and falling in love is a nice thing.” When Terri commented that it sounds like Nick is a romantic, he said, “I guess I related more with Dash in this story who is just sort of a little bit of the smarmy kind of jaded character, but then comes around by the end.”

In the series, there is also a cameo from Nick as well as a performance by the Jonas Brothers. Nick dished, “The brothers were kind enough to lend me their time and come and do that. It's a really sweet moment and fitting just because of my involvement in that show that I would pop up and be in it, too.”
