Bobbi Kristina Crisis: Drugs Reportedly Found in Home
New details have surfaced about Bobbi Kristina Brown's health scare.
While authorities have not confirmed it, the family tells TMZ that police found drugs the second time they searched the Roswell, GA home that Bobbi Kristina shares with Nick Gordon.
The Daily Mail also reports that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter was hanging out with Maxwell Lomas on the day she was found unconscious in the her bathtub.
Lomas has a known drug history. He was arrested last month on charges including intent to distribute marijuana and possession of Xanax. He was previously arrested for possession of a firearm or knife in commission of a crime and a probation violation.
Bobbi Kristina is showing signs of improvement, says TMZ. A source told the site that doctors performed tests Monday and have determined the swelling in her brain has gone down. She is said to be moving her eyes as well. The 21-year-old is reportedly in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator.
Whitney's family released a statement to E! News, saying, "Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."
Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, rushed to be by her side, flying from L.A. to Atlanta on Tyler Perry's private jet. Brown issued a brief statement on Sunday: "Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time." RadarOnline.com reports Brown is "inconsolable" at the prospect of losing his daughter the same way he lost his ex wife, Houston.
Whitney died at age 48 on Feb. 11, 2012, after being found unresponsive in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's report said that heart disease and cocaine played a part in the death of the singer.
