‘RHONY’ Star Leah McSweeney Dishes on Dorinda Medley’s Exit and Those Rachel Uchitel Rumors
Dorinda Medley is exiting “The Real Housewives of New York,” and some reports say Rachel Uchitel could be joining the show. “Extra's” Jenn Lahmers caught up with Leah McSweeney to get her take on the rumors.
Weighing in on talk Dorinda was let go for being a mean drunk, Leah said, “I think Dorinda is mean to the people she doesn't like… She was never mean to me. Can she be mean? Yes.” They have spoken since the news broke, and McSweeney said, “She seemed totally fine. She seemed OK. She's very real about it all.”
The reality star added, “I think she's savvy and she's determined and she's going to turn it into a new thing for herself.”
As for Rachel, most famously known as Tiger Woods' mistress, possibly joining “RHONY,” Leah said, “I don't know her personally… I know that normally if it's reported that somebody is going to be on the show before it starts to film, it's probably not right.”
Who is her pick for the new Housewife? “My sister, of course,” referring to her sis Sarah. Leah just joined the show herself in 2020, and joked that anyone joining the show should “have your psychiatrist on speed dial.” She added, “Be yourself. Have fun.”
As for the upcoming reunion, she shared, “There is a lot of screaming for sure. I looked at Andy and said, 'Your job is way harder than I thought.'”
“The Real Housewives of New York” airs Thursdays on Bravo.
