New Duggar Investigation, Plus Josh Duggar Hires Kate Gosselin's Former Bodyguard
The Duggar family is reportedly under investigation by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and police were called when the family allegedly refused to cooperate, according to In Touch magazine.
The magazine reports that a representative from the Washington County DHS called 911 on the morning of May 27 asking for police assistance when DHS was not allowed to see the minor they were concerned about.
The Duggar family was first investigated by police in 2006 for Josh's acts of molestation committed in 2002 and 2003. They were also investigated by DHS in 2007.
It has also been reported that Josh just hired bodyguard Steve Nield, who was seen outside Josh's Maryland home, where moving trucks were spotted on Tuesday.
Nield was once Kate Gosselin's bodyguard, and was rumored to be dating the “Kate Plus 8” reality TV star.
Josh, his wife Anna, and their children -- daughter Mackynzie, 5, and sons Michael, 3, and Marcus, 1 -- are reportedly returning to Arkansas, where the Duggar family home is located.
This all follows the new investigation and the elder Duggars' recent interview with Megyn Kelly at their Arkansas home, in which Jim Bob and Michelle revealed their son molested members of the Duggar family, including his two sisters, Jessa and Jill.
On May 21, Josh resigned as Executive Director of the Family Research Council, and just cancelled what was supposed to be a high-profile appearance with his wife Anna at a Christian Music Festival to be held next week in Ohio.
TLC has pulled all episodes of “19 Kids and Counting” from their schedule, with rumors now circulating that the network may do a spinoff reality series focused on sisters Jill and Jessa.
