Ally Brooke Calls ‘Work from Home’ a ‘Fun Reminder’ to Practice Social Distancing, Plus: The Latest on Her Tour
Fifth Harmony's sexy hit “Work from Home” is getting a lot of play these days, as people practice social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke via FaceTime. Brooke spoke about the song and rescheduling her tour due to the health crisis.
Ally explained, “I kind of thought for a second, 'Wait, 'Work from Home' could have a reassurance, and it totally did for fitting reasons.”
She added, “Hopefully it's kind of, in a way, a fun reminder, like 'Guys, let's work from home, stay home.'”
Brooke also spoke about postponing her tour, saying, “It was pretty abrupt. We made that decision with my team because safety and health is first for all of us and my fans.”
She went on, “I was able to do a few shows, which was great. I was happy to do a few shows... It had to unfortunately come to a quick end because of everything that is going on. At least I got to do a few instead of none.”
Ally clarified that her tour is not canceled, saying, “I postponed the rest of my dates.”
Her message to fans? “I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Please guys, continue to take care of yourselves and take this seriously, stay home, do social distancing take care of each other. I will be back on the road one day. I am excited for that day. Right now, we have to be vigilant and come together.”
Saying she is keeping active with her fans on social media, she noted, “I am here to hopefully be a voice of reason and hope for my fans.”
