Jenna Dewan-Tatum on Her ‘Sassy and Independent’ Daughter Everly
Jenna Dewan-Tatum is lending her name to a good cause! Jenna joined “Extra's” Charissa Thompson at Universal Studios Hollywood to show off a bracelet she designed for Mother's Day, with all proceeds going to St. Jude. Check it out here.
The “Supergirl” actress said she isn't quite sure what her family has planned for Sunday. “You know it just sort of snuck up on me, I haven't really thought about it.” Jenna said Channing is good at making the holidays special, “He's very good at planning things, very good at surprises and very good at spoiling me… but, he's out of town. We might do something later, but to be honest, I really just want to hang with Everly.”
She told Charissa all about what her little girl Everly is up to these days. “She's almost 3 and she's sassy and independent, a little fierce little thing. She just wants to climb everything, she's so active. She's talking so much. Where she comes up with things is amazing. You know that show 'What Kids Say'? I like so understand that now.”
Dewan-Tatum also dished on the bash she threw for Channing after she took to social media to document their camping fun. “We just went camping and I got him a rescue horse and an Airstream trailer.” Charissa asked for more details on the new horse, “Yes, Cajun, his name's Cajun… yeah, we already have one, but we have a farm… it was a nice little gift.”
The 35-year-old actress says they are “anxiously awaiting” word on a second season of “Supergirl,” and gushed over working on the series, “The actors are really fun, really great, fun people. Melissa's a blast.”
She is also having fun on social media, even doing a little snapchat with Charissa on set. “I fought it for so long, and then I actually started it. I like that I can let people sort of see inside my personality. I find it really fun. Until it's not fun, then I'll be off it.”
