As the show unfolded, Becca was conflicted over whether to choose Garrett Yrigoyen or Blake Horstmann. She introduced the suitors to her family to get their insight. Emily told her Garrett was “incredible,” adding, “I felt like I had known him for years.”
After meeting Blake, Emily liked him, too, saying, “I feel like Blake would challenge you and he would be more of a teammate. You just need to decide what you want.” In the end, Becca chose Garrett.
Soon, Twitter lit up with users calling for Emily to be on the next “Bachelorette” with messages like, "We need a bachelorette like Becca's sister!” and "Becca's curly haired sister for Bachelorette 2019."
“Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with Becca on Tuesday and asked her about Emily and the call for her to join Bachelor Nation.
Becca said, “Having her there… while I was making that tough decision meant the world and just to know she not only supported me but would back me up in any decision that I made – I needed her there for that.”
Unfortunately, Emily can't be the next “Bachelorette," but for a very happy reason.
“She is engaged," Kufrin confirmed. "She's getting married in September, so she can't be the Bachelorette, but she's wonderful."
