Rob Gronkowski Goes Shirtless, Comments on His ‘Party Boy’ Image in GQ
“Patriots” football star Rob Gronkowski is taking off his shirt for the cover of GQ's June issue, where he opens up on his dance moves, how he feels about alcohol, and public misconceptions about himself.
Though Gronkowski is an outgoing guy, it is often mistaken for something else. He admitted, “[P]eople misunderstand who I truly am. Truly who I am. If I go somewhere, people just think I'm a party boy 24/7. Like, it's a Monday night and I walk into a restaurant and people start handing me shots. I'm like, Yo, I'm in season right now. I just played a game, I can hardly walk.”
Speaking of drinking, Rob confessed that he's not a huge fan of the taste of alcohol. The 26-year-old shared, "I don't drink because I like the taste. Beer is nasty. I would never sit there and have a beer with dinner — it would ruin my whole meal. I drink to have fun, to feel good, to get tipsy. But my drink of choice is vodka and water.”
Rob may be known for his football prowess, he is also making a name for himself with his dance moves. Rob joked about his moves, "I'm self-taught. It took me four years to get where I am now with my dance moves. In high school I was scared to dance. I was shy at dancing. I practice at home. I was practicing in the mirror. Dancing everywhere. Then I just started feeling good. I started feeling coordinated. I started feeling the music better.”
