Rumors are swirling that hitmaker Taylor Swift is releasing a spankin' new single this week!

After the release of the new single, Taylor will reportedly make an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by her frenemy Katy Perry. The star-studded show will take place Sunday.

Another insider hinted that Swift's upcoming album is coming soon, saying, "She's being very secretive about it, but it's going to be a really good one.”

Back in May, a source claimed that Swift was looking at a fall release date, adding, "She's continuing down the pop route because '1989' was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album. She knows there's a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She's just excited to get back out there.”
