Miley Cyrus Dishes on Falling in Love Again with Liam Hemsworth
Over a year after getting back together, entertainer Miley Cyrus is ready to open up on her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
In the new issue of Billboard magazine, Cyrus discussed how she rekindled her romance with her “The Last Song” co-star. After they called off their engagement in 2013, she “immersed” herself in her work, making the albums “Bangerz" (2014) and "Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz." She explained, "Yeah, but also 'cause I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognize you anymore.' We had to refall for each other.”
Cyrus is working on new music at the Malibu home they share, which now has a recording studio that she had built. She has even written a new song about her romance with Liam called “Malibu,” which will definitely generate buzz. She said, "They're going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam. So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, 'This is how I feel'?”
Miley came up with the song while heading to “The Voice," where she served as a judge. She revealed, "I drive myself everywhere, but that day I decided to Uber, and I was trying not to sing out loud because someone else was in the car.”
In the song, which will be released May 11, she sings, "I never would've believed you if three years ago you told me I'd be here writing this song.”
As for how she's changed over the years, Miley said, "I haven't smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I've ever [gone without it]. I'm not doing drugs, I'm not drinking, I'm completely clean right now! That was just something that I wanted to do.”
