Suspects Reportedly Arrested for Kim Kardashian’s Paris Robbery
Three months after Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery, the police are narrowing in on the suspects!
TMZ reports that cops found traces of DNA from multiple suspects on the gag that was used on Kardashian. Along with the gag, recently released surveillance footage of the robbers fleeing the scene of the crime also helped law enforcement with their search.
According to the police, 17 people have reportedly been detained for questioning in France for their connection to the heist. Of those, three were women. No one has been charged.
Originally, French newspaper Le Monde reported one of the suspects worked for a limo service Kim's family used while in Paris. The man who last chauffeured Kim before the robbery was rumored to be one of the people being questioned.
UNIC Worldpass tells TMZ, however, that driver Michael Madar has been released from custody with no criminal charges. UNIC says Madar was in custody "for testimony purposes" only.
The limo company says that neither it nor Mador had a connection with the Paris robbery.
Kardashian recently broke her silence on the Paris robbery in a new promo for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians." She told her sisters Khloé and Kourtney she thought as it was happening, "They're going to shoot me in the back. There's no way out.” She went on to say, "It makes me so upset to think about it."
