Usher on Stripping Down for ‘Hands of Stone’ Sex Scenes

Last night, Usher was pumped up at the NYC premiere of “Hands of Stone,” where he opened up on his sex scenes in the film.

Usher is not only showing off his boxing skills, he also bares his bod in some of the racy scenes. He told “Extra” on the red carpet, “My ass is out, so be careful if you bring your kid... what would you expect? A sex scene for me to stay fully clothed? No, that wouldn't be a great sex scene, now would it?”

He added, “I've always been an exhibitionist. As a kid, my mother would always say I loved to be naked.”

Usher is playing boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, who at first thought it was a joke when he heard the R&B singer was taking on the role. Leonard shared, "But when I got a chance to work with Usher, I saw a potential. And if there's anyone who can play me, Usher can play me.”

Usher had nothing but love for Leonard, gushing, "He was 100% supportive of me from the beginning… he trained me, he supported me throughout the whole process.”

The “Crash” crooner also joked about Leonard's good genes and ageless appearance. “Obviously, black don't crack, but I'm saying... wow. He looks younger than all of us.”

Aside from Leonard, Usher raved about working with the rest of the “Hands of Stone” cast, saying, “Truly has been a labor of love for two years… so incredible to have an iconic story told in this way by these actors.”

Usher's red carpet appearance was a day after partying the weekend away with A-list celebs at the Apollo in the Hamptons, the annual benefit for Harlem's legendary Apollo Theater. He said, “Really happy to have been there to celebrate with Lionel Richie, Pharrell [Williams] and The Roots, felt natural, felt really good to do something with The Roots… they played a song, wasn't actually my song, it was a rhythm and we managed to make it a magic moment.”
