Ryan Reynolds' Hilarious Response to Missing Out on Oscar Nomination

After making Golden Globes history by being the first non-comic-book superhero movie nominated for Best Motion Picture, Ryan Reynolds and his movie “Deadpool” didn't quite make the cut at the Oscar nominations this morning, but Ryan had the best response!
The 40-year-old took the news in stride and assured fans he was in good spirits, tweeting, “Regularly scheduled tickle-fight at Camp #Deadpool is still on. Congrats to all the nominees for these brilliant films.”
The tweet was in reference to when Ryan found out “Deadpool” was nominated for a Golden Globe, and he tweeted, "Thank you, Golden Globes! As we speak, the entire Deadpool team is engaged in a grotesque, early morning tickle-fight.”
The superhero film is seen as a dark comedy, and there isn't a Comedy category for the Oscars.
In December, Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly, "I've always said that I wish the Oscars had a category for comedy as well, It's not an easy job. Oftentimes with comedies you have to have some pathos and real grit that in turn earns you the right to subvert expectations and be funny. It takes a lot of construction.”
