'This Is Us' Cast on Tonight’s Finale and Secrets from Next Season

“Extra” was on the red carpet today at the South by Southwest Festival in Texas and caught up with the stars of the hit NBC show “This Is Us” to talk about tonight's exciting season finale.

Star Mandy Moore shared, “I think the finale is going to be somewhat heartening and heartwarming. There will be tears but maybe of the joyful variety.” With the show wrapped for the season, will Mandy have time to do some wedding planning with fiancé Taylor Goldsmith? She told us, “I'm going to take my time. I think we've had a really, busy crazy season and a hectic last year. I want to enjoy the process and not sort of jump right into it.”

As for Milo Ventimiglia's character, what's the deal with that promo of Jack looking very old and gray? Milo shared, “We're going to find out very soon — we're down to hours — about what Jack is doing in that age makeup.”

Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin, added, “There's something that happens in the episode that is going to shock people and sort of make people excited about what that means for next year.”

And what can we expect next season? Mandy spilled, “We're going to see more of Jack before he knew Rebecca.”

And what's in store for Kevin? Justin shared, “I think for him he's got a lot of catching up to do as far as sort of finding himself, figuring out what it is that makes him happy and healthy. An exploration of that — getting back to who he is when you take away the fame, the movies and the career and money and all that's left with is looking at yourself in the mirror and your family.”
