Madonna & Guy Ritchie’s Custody Battle Over Rocco Is Getting Ugly
Over a month after Madonna's son Rocco was ordered to return home by a NYC judge, he is still living in London with his dad Guy Ritchie.
It has been reported that Rocco is planning to use his custody hearing to discuss his desire to live in London. A source told Us Weekly, "It's really horrible. [Madonna] feels incredibly hurt.”
The insider added, “Madonna thinks Guy is turning her son against her. He's telling Rocco he should stay with him. It seems like he's trying to brainwash the kid.”
Madonna and Guy have had a strained relationship since their split in 2008, which granted him $75 million from her fortune in the divorce settlement.
According to the source, Guy and Madonna have very different parenting styles. Madonna, in spite of her wild image, is considered a stern disciplinarian, while Guy is apparently homeschooling Rocco and not forcing him to study for his high school exams. “Madonna wants him to do those exams. Madonna thinks Guy has pretty much told Rocco that if he wants out of education, he can quit now. You can't blame him for wanting to live with someone who will let him run wild.”
