Video: Prince Harry Asks Disney CEO for Voice-Over Work for Meghan Markle
Prince Harry is clearly heard hitting up Disney CEO Bob Iger for voice-over work for his wife, Meghan Markle, in newly rediscovered video from the couple's appearance at the London premiere of "The Lion King."
Queen Elizabeth Orders Unprecedented Royal Summit Over 'Megxit'
View StoryPeople magazine reports that the footage, shot in July 2019, shows Harry telling Iger, "You know she does voice-overs," to which Iger, nonplused, replies, "Oh, really?"
"Did you know that?" Harry goes on. "You seem surprised."
With Meghan at his side, chatting with JAY-Z and Beyoncé, Harry gestures to her and says, "She's really interested."
Iger concludes the conversation in the short clip with a still-stunned, "Sure. We'd love to try."
It has since been reported that Markle has done a voice-over for Disney, payment for which will benefit Elephants Without Borders, a charity devoted to saving elephants.
Meanwhile, Harry is set to meet face-to-face with his brother, Prince William, his father, Prince Charles, and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, on Monday to hammer out the details of his and his wife Meghan's intention to step down from their roles as senior royals.
It is considered likely that Markle will have a voice at the meeting, albeit via telephone — she is already in Canada with their son, Archie, and their beloved dogs.
