Vinny has been documenting his weight loss journey on his Keto Guido Instagram account. Earlier this week, he took part in the How Hard Did Aging Hit You Challenge, posting a pic from 2009 and 2019. He said, “As you know from all the before and after pics on this profile, I've had some fat unhealthy years in between ... eating natural fat, protein, and veggies instead of processed sugar and carbs has brought me back to 21.”

As for how he shed the pounds, Vinny revealed in another post that he stopped eating “bread, pasta, sugar, fried food, low fat products.” His diet now consists of “bacon, full fat cheese, avocados, fatty steak, fatty fish, greens,” and “No steroids, no supplements,” and he works out.
On his Instagram, Guadagnino defended his decision to eat meat, saying, “I do think that eating quality red meat is healthy in moderation.” He added, “The world holds a perception and standard that red meat will cause cancer, clog your arteries, jump out from under your bed and eat you ... but from the majority of research that I've come across, I've found that these epidemiological studies are decades old , and didn't factor in any other lifestyle choices that these people were doing.”

Jenna Jameson is another celebrity who endorses the keto diet. She has lost a whopping 80 lbs. since the birth of her daughter Batel in April 2017.

View StoryCelebrity fitness guru Jillian Michaels recently criticized the diet, telling Women's Health, “I don't understand. Like, why would anyone think this is a good idea?"
She insisted, “Your cells, your macro molecules, are literally made up of protein, fat, carbohydrates, nucleic acids. When you do not eat one of the three macro nutrients — those three things I just mentioned — you're starving yourselves. Those macro nutrients serve a very important purpose for your overall health and wellbeing. Each and every one of them.”
