Sean Connery’s Cause of Death Revealed
A month after his passing at 90, new details have been released about Sean Connery’s death.
According to his death certificate obtained by TMZ, Connery died from pneumonia, respiratory failure, old age, and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rate that can increase risk of strokes and other heart conditions.
The document notes that Connery died on Halloween at 1:30 a.m.
Last month, it was revealed that Connery, the original James Bond, had died in his sleep.
Following his death, Connery’s family scattered his ashes in two of his favorite locations. His wife Micheline told People magazine, “We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland — that was his final wish… He wanted his ashes to be scattered in the Bahamas and also in his homeland."
Micheline, who was married to the star for 45 years, explained that they will go "whenever it is possible and safe to travel again. Then it is the family's intention to return to Scotland with him."
"We would like to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland — that is our hope,” she said. “But we cannot say when this will happen exactly."
