Patrick Duffy & Linda Purl Are Dating

Three years after losing his wife Carlyn Rosser to cancer, “Dallas” actor Patrick Duffy has found love during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Duffy, 71, is now dating “Happy Days” actress Linda Purl, 65. He told People magazine, “I'm in an incredibly happy relationship.”

“I never thought for a minute this would happen again," Patrick gushed. "I never thought I'd feel this way again."

Patrick and Linda started off as friends years ago. While they lost touch over time, things became romantic at the start of the pandemic. He revealed, “I loaded up my car and drove 20 hours and ended up on her doorstep just to see if it was real. We haven't been apart since.”

Reflecting on his marriage to Rosser, he said, “My wife and I, in 48 years, we were always together.”

Patrick believes that his late wife would approve of the relationship. He shared, “I feel, quite honestly, that it is keeping with the desires of my wife, the fact that we are intended to be happy. So when it's offered, think about it, do whatever you do, but don't let it pass you up if it's the right thing.”
