Brooklyn Beckham & Nicola Peltz Confirm Engagement, Victoria Beckham Reacts

Victoria and David Beckham's son Brooklyn is engaged!

In a pair of Instagram posts Saturday, Brooklyn and his love, actress Nicola Peltz, 25, made it official.

Next to a stunningly romantic image of the pair, Brooklyn, 21, wrote, "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx." Nicola replied, "i'm so lucky to call you mine."

Nicola posted the same shot, writing, "you've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby."

She also credited Brooklyn's 8-year-old sister, Harper, with taking the professional-looking photo!

Nicola's future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, 46, is bursting with happiness over the news, writing on Instagram, "The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness 🙏🏻We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven 💕."

The Mirror had previously reported the engagement, which comes after seven months of dating.

A source told the outlet, “Brooklyn has been telling his friends in L.A. that he and Nicola are engaged. It's common knowledge among their group of friends. They are smitten.”

Another insider close to Beckham's family added, “David and Victoria have very much given this relationship their blessing. It's a very exciting time for the whole family and after a few previous rocky relationships, they think Brooklyn has landed on his feet.”

In May, they gushed about each other on Instagram. While Brooklyn called Nicola his “best friend forever,” she wrote on Instagram, “i'm dating my best friend and that makes me so happy.”

They've been quarantining together in New York during the COVID-19 pandemic. In March, a source told The Sun, “He and Nicola are closer than ever and they are both excited to take their relationship to the next level by sharing the same home.”

The insider went on, “Nicola has been a big hit with the entire Beckham family — both David and Victoria have made it clear to Brooklyn how much they like her. So they completely support him in this move — though they will miss him a lot.”
