Karla Souza Welcomes Baby #2 — Find Out His Cute Name!
Actress Karla Souza, 34, and husband Marshall Trenkmann are parents again!
On Thursday, Souza announced the news that she had given birth to a baby boy. Mentioning their firstborn Gianna, she wrote on Instagram, “There's so much heaviness and injustice in the world and as a mother it makes me wonder what world my children are growing up into. Looking into Luka's eyes and watching Gianna as a big sister brings me so much hope and commitment to being a part of the change. Welcome to the world Luka.”
According to her rep, Luka was born on June 12, weighing 7 lbs., 4 oz. They told People magazine, “Luka was welcomed at home by his 2-year-old big sister Gianna who is already busy teaching him the words to 'Poco Loco' from 'Coco.'”
Karla announced she was expecting just a few weeks ago! At the time, she posted a pic of her baby bump, revealing that she was due in “the next four weeks.” Referencing her online course "Unleashed," she wrote, “Those of you who have already watched module one of #Unleashed already know this, but building this course has also coincided with my pregnancy ❤️ Opening up in such a deep way while creating life has been such a gift and I'm honored to continue sharing, growing, and UNLEASHING with you all over the course of the next four weeks.”

Souza's decision to wait to announce her pregnancy comes as no surprise, since she kept her first pregnancy unwraps until giving birth to Gianna. Her pregnancy and birth announcements came on the same day in 2018.
Weeks before her pregnancy announcement, she bid farewell to her hit show “How to Get Away with Murder,” which recently aired its series finale. Souza wrote on Instagram, “And that's a wrap 🥺🥰 Thank you to everyone who contributed to the last 6 years of @howtogetawaywithmurder! I'm overwhelmed with emotion to be at the end of this beautiful journey, at the same time, I'm also eternally grateful to have brought Laurel Castillo to life ❤️ Thank you @petenowalk, @shondarhimes, @violadavis, and every single person who was part of this production! I've learned from each one of you. This isn't goodbye — just see you later 🤗.”
