Are Heather Locklear & Chris Heisser Engaged? The Big Sign!

A source told People magazine that the pair have “been engaged since the end of April.” Along with the engagement, the pair were “celebrating her year of sobriety.”

“They are really happy together,” the pal added. “Her family, her parents, her siblings, and her daughter are all supporting her and excited for her.”

Engagement rumors started swirling after Locklear was spotted with a diamond sparkler on her left ring finger in photos obtained by DailyMail.com. During the outing last week, she was seen wearing an “I'm Smiling” face mask.

The news comes nearly a year after Heather pleaded no contest to eight misdemeanors, stemming from two arrests in 2018. To avoid jail, she was ordered to spend 30 days in a residential treatment facility, TMZ reported. Along with being required to enroll by September 6, 2019, she was placed on three years of informal probation.

One of the 2018 arrests mentioned above involved Chris. The couple allegedly got into a physical altercation at her Thousand Oaks home, which led to her arrest for felony domestic violence and misdemeanor battery on a police officer. A police source claimed to DailyMail.com that Heather “practically bit the tip off of Heisser's nose” before police showed up to her house. The source added, “She punched the lady cop and called her a 'c**t,' kicked one of the male cops in the balls, and punched the third male cop and called them all 'f**king a**holes,' ranting at them.” She pleaded not guilty to all the charges, but later changed her plea to no contest.

That same year, Locklear was taken to a hospital for mental health reasons. At the time, TMZ reported that Heather had been placed on a psychiatric hold after suffering another meltdown.

Heather and Chris, who were high school sweethearts, have been on and off for the past few years after reconnecting.

Last year, they appeared to shut down split rumors after being seen together at a gas station in Beverly Hills. During the outing, Locklear was dressed casually in a sweater, ripped jeans, Converse sneakers, and a black beret, while Heisser wore jeans, sweater, and a scarf.

Before the sighting, RadarOnline.com reported that Heather and Chris broke up after a “never-ending” fight during the holidays. A friend claimed, “They started fighting on Christmas Eve and Chris took off. They continued fighting until after Christmas. Then Chris moved out of her house before the new year.”
