Dale Earnhardt Jr. & Wife Amy Expecting Again — See His Priceless Reaction to Baby #2!
NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to be a dad again!
Dale, 45, and wife Amy, 37, are expecting their second child. Dale learned of the pregnancy from their daughter Isla Rose, 2, who wore a shirt that read, “Super amazing sister.”
Amy posted a video of Dale's reaction to the news. He said, “What?! How do you know it's a girl?!”

Amy responded, “She's the sister either way!”
The surprised Earnhardt Jr. commented with a smile on his face, “Really?! Oh, my God! This is a joke!”
In another adorable video, Isla told the camera, “I'm gonna be a sister.”

The news comes less than a year after Dale, Amy and Isla were involved in a fiery plane crash in Tennessee. According to the FAA, the plane experienced a “hard landing, bounced, departed runway, and caught fire” at Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee.
After being treated on the scene, Dale took to social media to show his appreciation for all the love and support. He wrote on Instagram, “Amy and I want to thank everyone who has lifted us up with phone calls, messages and prayer since last Thursday. We are truly blessed that all on board escaped with no serious injuries, including our daughter, our two pilots and our dog Gus.”

View Story“With respect to the investigation, we will not be speculating or discussing the cause of the accident. I am thankful for the quick response of my pilots, local law enforcement, emergency personnel and hospital staff,” Dale went on. “Lastly Amy and I continue to be very appreciative of the privacy extended to us to process everything. It has been important to do that together and on our own time.”
Weeks after the accident, Dale was able to race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway.
