Livestream: Watch Kobe Bryant’s Memorial at Staples Center
On Monday morning, many will be on hand for Kobe Bryant's memorial at the house he built… Staples Center.
The broadcast will be at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET as mourners gathered near the sports venue where Kobe played for most of his 20-year career as a Los Angeles Laker.
Here's a link to the livestream below.
The memorial will also honor his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, who also perished in the helicopter crash that took nine lives.
Last week, a limited number of tickets were released to the public, with all proceeds going to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Tickets have three different prices: $224 each, 2 for $224, and $24.02 each. The prices are a nod to Kobe and Gianna's jersey numbers, #24 and #2.
TMZ reported that event organizers were working with Kobe's family to determine who will be able to speak and perform at the service.
The site noted that family, friends, players, NBA officials, and season ticket holders were the first to be invited to the memorial.
“Extra” recently spoke with Kobe's former teammate Shaquille O'Neal, who noted that he'll be there. Watch.
A day before the memorial, Michael Jordan and Jerry West were seen having dinner at Craig's in Los Angeles. Their appearance at the memorial will come as no surprise, since Kobe had a close relationship with both.
