Daniel Craig Is ‘Very Sad’ to Say Goodbye to James Bond Movies
On Sunday, actor Daniel Craig hit the red carpet at the 2020 Golden Globes, where he discussed his exit from the Bond franchise.
“Extra's” Billy Bush spoke with Daniel, who has been portraying secret service agent James Bond since 2006. He commented, “I'm very sad, but also it's been five movies and I've been incredibly proud of every single one of them, and now it's time to go.”
Craig's final Bond film, “No Time to Die,” hits theaters in April.
Daniel, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in “Knives Out,” also addressed rumors of a possible sequel. He said, “The plan is to try and do another one, I think. Every time you do a movie, you hope it's gonna be the best thing there is — we hit it.”
Daniel was joined at the star-studded ceremony by his wife, Rachel Weisz, but they decided to walk the red carpet separately.
