Nikki Bella & Artem Chigvintsev Secretly Engaged for Months

“Total Bellas” star Nikki Bella and dancer Artem Chigvintsev are ready to take their relationship to the next level!

On Friday, Nikki announced their engagement. She wrote on Instagram, “Excited for 2020 and the next decade with you @theartemc ❤️ I said yes in France in November. We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year!”

Artem shared the same photos, saying, “You are the best thing that ever happen to me. So excited for what to come I love you more then anything and thank you for saying Yes.”

In October, Nikki explained why she was hesitant about marriage after her split withfrom ex-fiancé John Cena. She told reporters at the 2019 Girl Up #GirlHero Awards, “I'll admit, having a public breakup can scar you. It scared me a lot and that's why at times, I'll post Artem and then I won't for a while. It scared me about marriage, it scared me about kids.”

She added, “It's two things that I really wanted in my life and now I'm so timid of it, which kind of sucks. But I definitely have those scars and I'm working on healing them and doing work on myself weekly.”

Nikki and Artem met when they were partners on “Dancing with the Stars,” but they didn't find love until years later after her split with John Cena.

Romance rumors started swirling about them in early 2019. She confirmed the relationship in March with an Instagram pic. She wrote, “Well after that season finale . First thing I'll be talking about this Wednesday.”
