Maren Morris Is Pregnant with Her First Child

Country singer Maren Morris, 29, has a bun in the oven!
On Tuesday, Morris announced that she was expecting a baby boy with husband Ryan Hurd. Referencing her last album, she wrote on Instagram, “The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the GIRL headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one. 👶🏻.”
Morris included a photo from her maternity photo shoot, which shows her cradling her baby bump while Hurd rests his forehard on hers.
Hurd shared his excitement over the baby news, writing on Instagram, “MY BOYS CAN SWIM. BABY BOY HURD 2020! Look at her… cannot believe this life with this girl. Also, thank you George Constanza for this caption that I've been sitting on my entire life…”
Ryan also shared details about the due date, tweeting, “Look at her… can't believe it. See you in March, baby!”
Earlier this year, Morris expressed her desire to have kids. She told People magazine, “If you're gonna get married, you have to have those talks beforehand anyways, and I definitely know that I want a family, and he would be such an amazing dad; he's such a kid himself. I love his family, and he loves my family.”
At the time, she noted that they weren't having a baby “anytime soon!”
In 2018, Morris already had babies on the brain. When a Twitter user asked if she was going to have kids, she tweeted during a Q&A, “I literally have it blocked out on my calendar next year.”
Maren and Ryan have been married for more than a year. They met in 2013 and started dating years later.
