Issa Rae’s First Signed Artist TeaMarrr Drops New Music Video for ‘Kinda Love’
Only “Extra” was on set as TeaMarrr filmed her new music video “Kinda Love”!

The singer told “Extra,” “I feel like a princess, it's so cool… She's hilarious, and I think we have like the same sense of humor."
TeaMarrr went on, “The fact that I always wanted to be an actress — like always wanted to be an actress — so the fact that an actress, an actor, signs me to her music label, I'm like, 'Wait, what?' So, now I'm gonna be both… It's a blessing."
She told "Extra" she loved the whole process of making a music video, saying, “I'm having so much fun. It's so cool seeing my ideas come to life.”
As for getting signed by Issa, who makes a cameo in the video, she said, “I was very anti-major label… They were like, 'Well, Issa Rae wants to sign you,' and I'm like, 'I'm sorry what?!'”
TeaMarrr added, “From there I'm like, 'I'm in, major label what? I don't care, I'm in.'”
The star also praised Issa's style, saying, “I think she's a dope curator.”
