Rob Gronkowski on Life After Football, Plus: Does He Think This Is Tom Brady’s Last Year?
Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski is living that retired life!
Gronk brought a massive crowd as he stopped by our Levi's Times Square studios in NYC to talk about his life after football.
One of his famous friends, David Spade, even crashed the interview on FaceTime! “We got David Spade, everyone — say hello, David," he announced, turning his phone as David said, “Whoooo!”
The former New England Patriots player said he is having a lot of fun off the field, but would he ever go back to the game? “I've got to have that desire to play, too, and right now, I am enjoying my life, where I am at.”
As for his quarterback, Tom Brady, he said he doesn't think this will be his last year on the field. "The guy's a beast, the guy's a machine, the guy is Mr. Pliable," he observed. "He can play for as long as he wants, and he is going to play for as long as he wants."
The athlete does agree with Brady trying to recruit Mark Wahlberg to try out for the Patriots via social media. “He's got that mentality, the fighting mentality.”
These days, Gronk is enjoying spending time with his model girlfriend Camille Kostek, saying, “We're both super busy, doing our thing, but whenever we can get relaxing time at home, it's great.” For now, he says there are marriage plans. “No plans right now," he said, smiling. "We're just working our butts off right now.”
