Bella Hadid & The Weeknd Split Again

Model Bella Hadid, 22, and singer The Weeknd, 29, have gone their separate ways for the second time.

One year after they reconciled, a source told E! News, “Bella and Abel have split."

Noting that “distance” was a cause of their split, the insider added, “They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut."

Along with their busy schedules, which required them to travel, the insider claimed, “They have been arguing a lot recently… [They] haven't spent quality time together in months."

Despite their breakup, the source emphasized that there is possibility of a reconciliation, saying, “They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects.”

Amid all the split rumors, The Weeknd posted a pic of himself, tweeting, “album mode full effect.”

Late last year, the pair were subject to engagement rumors after they moved in together. A source told Us Weekly, “They're madly in love with each other. A proposal is on the horizon.”

They sparked reconciliation rumors after his split from Selena Gomez. They were even seen kissing in Cannes. At the time, a source told E! News, “Bella and Abel have been in contact since Abel and Selena split, but they are not back together. Abel reached out to Bella asking to hang out and catch up, and she decided to see him and see where things go. She knows that if they don't date again, they can at least be good friends."
