Wendy Williams' Estranged Husband Calls Police to Their Mansion
Kevin Hunter was having a day Thursday — conflicting reports suggested he was officially removed as executive producer of his estranged wife's show, and he felt the need to call police to the New Jersey mansion they share.
People magazine reports Hunter called police because he felt harassed by members of the media outside the mansion where he has lived with Wendy for years.
Wendy Williams’ Husband Kevin Hunter Breaks His Silence
View Story“[Hunter] says there's a news van outside his home that won't leave him alone,” the emergency dispatcher says in audio posted by The Blast.
How were things resolved? “We spoke with the caller as well as the press — both sides — and explained that they can be in the road and on the sidewalk, but not on their property," an officer says on the audio.
On Wednesday, Hunter said in a statement he was "not proud" of his recent actions, issuing a public apology to his wife, his family, and Wendy's fans. He has been rumored to be cheating on Wendy with Sharina Hudson, who reportedly gave birth to his child in March.
Hunter had been an executive producer on "The Wendy Williams Show" since its 2008 bow, and shares Wendy Williams Productions with Wendy.
