Mick Jagger’s Medical Mystery Revealed as Rolling Stones Postpone Tour
The Rolling Stones recently postponed their tour due to Mick Jagger's health.
Now, a source tells the Drudge Report it is because Mick is having heart valve replacement surgery. The site says the operation will take place in New York this week and that he is “expected to make a full recovery.”
An insider told Page Six, “This is not a serious thing,” and that he could be “back at work within weeks.”
On Saturday, the Stones tweeted that the tour was postponed because “Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment.”
Jagger, 75, followed up with a message to fans, tweeting, “I'm so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I'm devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”
