Nicole Kidman Dishes on Her Daughters' Cooking Skills
Last night, Nicole Kidman went solo at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film “Boy Erased.”
“Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with Kidman, who revealed why her husband Keith Urban couldn't be her date for the evening. She shared, “My man is in Nashville right now. And I'm flying back to both my man and my children tonight.”
Kidman, who stunned in a purple sequin Markus Lupfer dress, noted that she'd be back in time to take her kids to school Tuesday morning.
Keith just celebrated his 51st birthday, with Nicole posting pictures of them with his birthday cake. She admitted, “I did not bake. I'm a terrible cook... I don't have the skill… but I love to be cooked for.”
She pointed out, “My daughter can actually cook a better cake than I can.” When Renee commented, “The 10-year-old can make a better cake than you,” Nicole, laughed, saying, “Actually, the 7-year-old is pretty good, too.”
Nicole's girls Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 7, are getting ready for Halloween. Kidman said, “It seems like now Halloween is a massive... seems to be Halloween every weekend of October. We've had many Halloween parties already. We've already done trick or treating… in our neighborhood — we did it last night — but we'll be out the 31st.”
“Boy Erased," based on a true story, has Nicole and Russell Crowe playing parents who force their gay teen son into conversion therapy. Nicole explained, “I saw this film as about love, I saw it as something that is so positive in terms of the change that the family makes, which is a beautiful thing to put out in the world.”
