A-Rod 'Can't Wait to See What's Next' for J.Lo

A-Rod is keeping busy!

“Extra's” Renee Bargh sat down with MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez as he competed in the web series “Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs.” The other half of Hollywood's hottest couple was fresh off watching his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, wind down her wildly successful Las Vegas residency. “She has now four shows left," he noted. "It's been this three-year journey for her. We love being there for each other... I think we all can't wait to see what's next.”

Celebrities flocked to see J.Lo perform before her residency ends, with tons of photos all over social media this weekend from the likes of Sofía Vergara, Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa. “Jessica Alba," Alex added to the list. "It was fantastic.” Smiling, he said, "Fire marshals were not happy. They broke every record with people in that arena, and there was about a thousand people outside trying to get in.”

Revealing the stars who will be there this weekend for her last shows, A-Rod spilled, "We have Kobe Bryant [and his wife] Vanessa coming this weekend. It's been nonstop.”

Making it clear he will not be taking the stage with J.Lo, he said firmly, “Never happen. People would want their refund." All kidding aside, he has his own plan for this weekend, teasing, “I have some good surprises this weekend.”

The couple vacationed in Italy this summer, but there is otherwise no time for a break right now. I go right into the playoffs and World Series with FOX. That should be fun. But we find time. Most important thing is spending time with our children.”

A-Rod said he is having fun with creating a Jeep Wrangler with the “Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs” challenge. The Jeep brand means a lot to him because "almost 25 years ago, when I signed my first contract out of high school in Miami, the first thing I did with my signing bonus... I bought my mother a house. And I bought myself a Jeep Cherokee.”

Dishing on his tricked-out ride, A-Rod said, “It's big, mean wheels with a nice grill…. It looks like a winning Jeep.”
