Report: Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas Engaged

After two months of dating, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are taking the next serious step in their relationship!

People magazine reports that Jonas popped the question to Chopra on her 36th birthday in London.

A source revealed that Jonas closed down a Tiffany & Co. jewelry store in NYC to shop for an engagement ring, adding, “They are so happy.”

The engagement came just a few days after Priyanka said they "are getting to know each other."

Another insider close to Nick added, “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they're all really excited for him. He's definitely very serious about her.”

Last week, director Ali Abbas Zafar may have hinted at the engagement when he revealed that she is exiting his project “Bharat.” He tweeted, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life 😊😉😍.”

Over the past few weeks, Nick and Priyanka have introduced each other to their families, even traveling to India to meet her mom, Madhu. A pal said, “It's a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin's wedding. He's dated a lot over the last couple years but it's never been anything serious, so this is a big step. Nick and Priyanka really like each other, and his family enjoyed getting to know her as well. She fit right in!"

Last year, Priyanka revealed what she was looking for a man, telling "Extra's" Mario Lopez, "Someone who can surprise me. Most guys don't surprise me.”
