Celebrities React to Los Angeles Wildfires
In the wee hours of the morning Wednesday, a brush fire broke out near the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
The fire led to the closure of multiple freeways, include the very congested 405. Many were evacuated from the nearby homes, including Chelsea Handler.
She tweeted, “Just evacuated my house. It's like Donald Trump is setting the world on fire. Literally and figuratively. Stay safe everyone. Dark times.”
Over the weekend, there have been three fires raging in the Los Angeles area — in Ventura County, Bel Air, and the northeastern San Fernando Valley. Along with the lack of much-needed rain, the Santa Ana winds have made it very difficult to contain and put out the fires.
Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen, who both have homes in Los Angeles, took to Twitter to discuss the fires. Kim said, “I pray everyone in Los Angeles is safe from these fires and THANK YOU to all of the fire fighters working so hard to keep everyone safe!”

These fires are so scary and I am hoping everyone is ok and praying for the people in those areas and the brave fire fighters and volunteers. My heart goes out to all the poor animals too.

It has been reported that Rupert Murdoch's Bel Air estate is in the line of fire. His Bel Air winery tweeted, “We are watching the situation unfold very carefully along with everyone else. Our main concern at the moment is for the safety of our neighbors and first responders.”
