John Stamos Engaged to Caitlin McHugh

Actor John Stamos is giving marriage another try!

On Sunday, Stamos announced that he is engaged to girlfriend Caitlin McHugh after nearly two years of dating. He wrote on Instagram, "I asked... she said yes!... And we lived happily ever after.”

According to People magazine, Stamos popped the question at Disneyland in Anaheim, where they celebrated with their family.

A source told "Extra" that John pulled off the romantic proposal with the help of Bob Iger, the Disney Director of Feature Animation. John and Bob have been friends since "Full House," when Bob was the president of ABC.

Caitlin showed off her engagement ring in a post, writing on Instagram, "I kissed the boy and said...yes! That's what you do when the sweetest, most romantic Prince Charming treats you like a princess and asks you to be his 💍."

Last year, Stamos revealed on “The View" that he was off the market, saying, "This girl I'm dating… she loves this song, 'Disney Girls.' So I put on FaceTime… I thought I could get away with [it] but people were tweeting, 'Who are you FaceTiming?!'"

A week later, Caitlin, 31, was spotted spoon-feeding John, 54, ice cream outside Carmela's in Los Angeles.

In November, he told “Extra's” Renee that he was “happy” with Caitlin. He said, "It always comes back to bite you when you start talking about relationships and girls. I tell all my friends, 'Don't post pictures of you and your girlfriend.' She's very respectful of it and she doesn't.”

Stamos was previously married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998-2005. She has gone on to marry Jerry O'Connell.
