Carmelo Anthony & La La Split After 14 Years Together

New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony and wife La La Anthony have separated ahead of their seventh wedding anniversary!

TMZ reports that the two are now living separately, with La La moving out of their NYC home and into her own place last week.

A source told Daily News, "They have been fighting for about a year. The marriage has always been a rocky one, so this is no surprise.”

According to TMZ, Carmelo allegedly impregnated an unnamed woman who worked at a gentlemen's club. She is reportedly more than six months pregnant with his baby and asking Carmelo to pay medical costs.

Another insider told Page Six that Carmelo isn't dating anyone right now, saying, "There are many players in the league who have these significant others, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Melo."

A source close to the couple commented on the various reports, telling "Extra" on Tuesday morning that "there is no baby." The insider elaborated, "Right now, they are living apart. That is all – there is no [divorce] filing."

On the same day, La La was spotted without her wedding ring in the Big Apple as she made her way to the Tribeca Film Festival Luncheon & Award Ceremony.

The split news broke days after Knicks President Phil Jackson announced that Anthony's days in a Knicks uniform were numbered. During a press conference, Jackson said, "We just talked about how we could make things the best possible things for both of us. [Find] a place where he could go to be competitive and to be back in the hunt, and something that would benefit us moving forward as a young, developing team.”

Sources claim that Carmelo's past season with the Knicks took its toll on the marriage, since his name was constantly part of trade talks.

Though they have separated, Carmelo and La La are trying to keep things amicable, even attending their son Kiyan's basketball game together over the weekend.
